– The first edition of the event was very positively received by the participating ladies, who were very pleased with the opportunity to participate in a race dedicated exclusively to women. You could say that we fulfilled the slogan of our title partner, because on Saturday afternoon there were happy and smiling ladies running around Reagan Park. We want the 2024 edition to be even better and together with our partners we have prepared some surprises. I invite all ladies to Challenge Women by Brooks – says event director Adam Greczyło.

Just like in the first edition of the event, it is worth hurrying with registration. The first 100 women who register and pay the starting fee will receive a souvenir T-shirt in the starting package, but that’s not all – each woman who finishes the race will receive a voucher worth PLN 100 for the purchase of a sports bra/top at the Brooks store, and the first three At the finish line, competitors will receive vouchers worth PLN 500 for the purchase of Brooks shoes.

– We are glad that once again the Brooks brand can help promote physical activity among women. The great thing about running is that it can be done only on your own terms, covering the kilometers in a way that gives you the most joy. And that’s why we encourage all ladies to come to this year’s edition of Challenge Women by Brooks and have fun with us. Especially since we are preparing gifts for everyone, says Adrianna Jaroszewska from Brooks Running.

The entire entry fee from the first edition of the race, a total of PLN 2,700, went to the account of the Pomeranian Hospice for Children. The title partner of the event, the Brooks brand, contributed the same amount and the hospice account was credited with the amount of PLN 5,400. All fees from the second edition of the event will also go to the account of the Pomeranian Hospice for Children.

The ambassador of the event, who will help the ladies prepare for the 5-kilometer distance, will be the coach of the golden 4 x 400 m relay, Aleksander Matusiński, who will first, on Saturday morning, take part in a triathlon relay over a sprint distance with the partners who bid for this start in the charity auction of the Great Christmas Orchestra. Help.

– I am very happy that I will appear from Gdańsk again at this wonderful event and I encourage all ladies to participate, because it is the most important in the face of the charitable purpose of this event – says coach Aleksander Matusiński.
