The 2026 season will bring a completely new energy to the Challenge Gdańsk routes. Race organizers have prepared a new middle-distance cycling route that will take participants through one of the most characteristic and picturesque regions of northern Poland – Żuławy Wiślane.
The new cycling loop will take triathletes towards the towns of Lędowo, Grabiny Zameczek, Suchy Dąb, and Krzywe Koło, and then return to Gdańsk via Koszwały, Cedry Małe, and Kiezmark, offering a unique combination of sporting dynamics and scenic beauty. The route has been designed to maximize the region’s potential – wide, smooth roads, open spaces, and minimal elevation gain will bring a whole new pace to the competition.
The total elevation gain along the entire route is just 68 meters, making it one of the fastest routes in the Challenge Family series. For many riders, this is a great opportunity to break their personal bests and test their skills in conditions conducive to a truly fast pace. Żuławy Wiślane, known for its flat terrain and long straightaways, is a true paradise for cyclists who enjoy a steady, fast pace.
– We wanted to create a route that would combine the thrill of sport with a unique scenic experience. The Żuławy Wiślane region is perfect for this – flat, wide, with views of fields and canals, yet very close to Gdańsk. “This will be a route that will allow competitors to really gain momentum, with the wind being the only obstacle,” says Adam Greczyło, director of Challenge Gdańsk.

Combined with the unique finish line location on the Gdańsk Pier, Challenge Gdańsk 2026 promises to be an event that combines speed, excitement, and the atmosphere of a sporting celebration in one of the most beautiful places in Poland.
Early Bird fees of only €219 for the middle distance are valid until midnight today; it’s worth deciding to start now to take advantage of the reduced entry fee.
– We were very keen to present the cycling route to competitors while the Early Bird fee is still in effect, so as many competitors as possible could familiarize themselves with the proposed route and see why participating in Challenge Gdańsk 2026 is worthwhile, while also benefiting from the reduced entry fees. Minor adjustments to the route are possible, subject to final arrangements with all road authorities, but I can confidently say that Challenge Gdańsk is reaching a new level with this new cycling route. I invite everyone to Gdańsk on June 21, 2026,” concludes the race director.
